Some fun I had with the character creation of Soul Calibur V. I actually recreated Takuro too, but that model is even more boring than Rai’s, haha. Maybe when I’m able to recreate a couple more characters, I’ll post him in another batch.
Unfortunately grinding in SCV is not really fun for me, and according to a friend SCV doesn’t offer any options for ‘modern’ clothing. I’ll see what I can tickle out of it eventually.
Tried to come up with casual/free time outfits for Nekomina.
I’m really not good with fashion, I should finally buy a magazine for these kinda things.

Design sketches of Fafnir. I already had a very strong idea of how it should look like, so the only ‘development’ is from the tail.
Not in chronological order, but this is a valid exception, because today (8/16) is Rai’s birthday. Originally I drew this last year for my own birthday, but I’ll leave this for Rai’s now as she got a date. I’ll draw something new for her in a bit, but for now this’ll do.
It might seem silly to ‘celebrate’ a birthday of one of your own characters, but Rai got very precious to me over the years for many reasons, so this is the least I can give her back.
Nekomina Kitakaze is an adventurous and spontaneous young girl who often causes awkward moments because she’s very straightforward and says whatever comes to her mind without thinking first. People often have problems dealing with her because she’s incredibly energetic and doesn’t like to pay attention, and even if
she does her attention span is very short.
She got a hand for stealing things, rewarding her the nickname of ‘thieving cat’ amongst the criminals she’s forced to work for, because her mother was sick and it was their only option to pay for her therapy. Her friends however call her by the nickname Mina.
Nekomina loves fashion and everything which has to do with it, giving her a small reputation amongst the girls who sometimes ask for her advice, even though the opinions are split about her stereotypical - and favorite - French dress. Mikuo sometimes lovingly teases her about it with his own, broken French.
