Hisashi Nozomu is the owner of the local horse racing track. He is a friendly, layed back man who takes his life easy, often inspiring the people around him with his view on things, aswell as being cherished for his positive and realistic advices. For some people he’s having a boring lifestyle, to which he only says that one does not necessarily need excitement to lead a happy and fulfilled life, as long as you enjoy what you are doing.
He is very popular with the children and (young) adults alike, as he keeps a pasture next to the racing track for retired horses, where they can ride them, which also doubles as a petting zoo; and he employs a lot of people at good conditions, with having open spots nearly all the time, taking in everyone who wants to earn some earnest money.
His most valued possessions are the racing track, the pasture and the animals, he and his, now deceased, wife worked hard for to accomplish. He is continuing them with all his love in her legacy ever since she passed away.
