Rai is getting a neat leather jacket for her casual summer outfit, simply wanted to draw it. Had a quick idea for a summer outfit for Dan, so I scribbled him next to her.
I didn’t realise Rai has a smile on her face until I scanned the picture. Guess she is happy after all that Dan appeared next to her, haha.
I got no clue how I got the idea for this outfit anymore, the last thing I remember was that Nekomina went shopping with Rai to get her some stylish things, and Rai ended up liking the outfit.
I do know that I wanted to use the design in a single artwork, but I think I’ll adapt it as a casual outfit for her later on in the story. Or maybe earlier, depending how things develop.
Playing Disgaea 3 for the Vita gave me the idea to add stripes under Fenrir’s eyes, I’m actually liking the looks of it and will probably take them as a new canon addition.
Most recent sketches of Rai and Fenrir. I was in a bad mood about my artistic skills yet again, and I was just doing random doodles as I just felt like it. As it couldn’t have been any different, I tried doodling Fenrir more cat like, and then a Rai since I was on this topic anyways.
Much to my surprise, these two mere doodles turned out incredibly great, and made me feel a lot better about my own abilities in a few different ways again.
It’s an amazing feeling when a story and their characters have become something so big, that you can regain strength from it in almost every situation.
I wanted to have all my backlog uploaded by sunday, but unfortunately I couldn’t get rid of my lazy slump trait, so now I’m wishing you a happy new year on january the second, and here’s a fresh new start for me, and you’ll get fresh new art instead of backlogs.
Some fun I had with the character creation of Soul Calibur V. I actually recreated Takuro too, but that model is even more boring than Rai’s, haha. Maybe when I’m able to recreate a couple more characters, I’ll post him in another batch.
Unfortunately grinding in SCV is not really fun for me, and according to a friend SCV doesn’t offer any options for ‘modern’ clothing. I’ll see what I can tickle out of it eventually.

On a forum I visit, someone had this as their signature.
I can’t help it, but it just looks so much like a possible REM scene to me: A teacher cracking a joke like “Oh, I didn’t knew Rai was actually a girl, hahaha!” upon seeing that Rai is wearing the female school uniform, which of course sets her off.
This gif made me want to implement a day where Rai wears the female uniform for a day, I just need a good background/reason for her to actually do so.
